Lead-Acid Battery Manufacturing Solutions
The lead-acid battery market is expected to grow by more than $1B over the next 5 years. Now is the time for battery businesses to invest in high-quality manufacturing equipment that can meet the demand for high-quality batteries. That’s where we come in.
Curing & Drying Chambers (Batch or Continuous)
Every custom-built curing & drying chamber from American Battery Machines is made in the USA to meet specifications and exceed all expectations. With gas, electric, and steam-powered options—as well as a reversing airflow option for side-to-side recirculation—ABM curing & drying chambers allow for total control of every environment and outcome.
Enveloping / Wrapping & Stacking Machines
BM-Rosendahl’s enveloping/wrapping & stacking machines feature compact, modular designs—the most efficient of which can process up to 340 enveloped plates per minute.

Acid Mixers & Diluters (Batch or Continuous)
Källström’s fully-automatic acid-mixing & diluting systems work for any acid density you need with compact designs that include all necessary parts—valves, pumps, piping, PLCs (Allen-Bradley or Siemens), and heat exchangers.
Key Features:
Capacities up to 6 m³/h
Accuracy down to ±0.002 g/cm³
Fully-automatic, 24/7 operation
Källström also offers equipment for powder mixing and dosing—as well as gel mixing.
Acid Fillers
Källström acid-filling machines are tailor-made and custom-built for each customer’s needs.
Volumetric Acid Fillers for SLI Batteries
Källström’s volumetric acid fillers come equipped with 1 to 6 filling heads, can handle any battery cell voltage between 2 and 36 volts, can fill up to 25 batteries/minute, and can process up to 3 different acid densities on a single machine with Kallstrom’s unique tank add-on.
Vacuum Acid Fillers for VRLA Batteries
Källström’s vacuum acid fillers feature state-of-the-art Coriolis flow meters to ensure dosage accuracy while providing density and temperature readings in real-time. These systems enable you to minimize dry-spots while filling 2, 6, 8, 12, and 24 volt batteries. They can also fill up to 4 batteries/min with a fill accuracy of ±3 g/cell.
Källström also offers similar acid-filling systems for NiCd and NiMH batteries.
